Role: Surgical First Assistant/Senior Theatre Practitioner - Scrub/ SFA (All specialties exposure, orthopaedics, Laparoscopic, Gynae, Urology, General)
Location: London
Salary: £40,500- £48,583 plus £5,000 SFA allowance per annum
Job Type: Monday to Sunday, Full time 37.5 hours p/w, Various Shift patterns

We have 5 operating suites catering for Cardiac, Orthopaedics, ENT and Ophthalmic, Plastics, General/Vascular, Urology and Gynaecology. We work with surgeons who are the best in their specialities carrying out simple to the more complex surgeries.
Role Overview
To be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team, taking on the role of Surgical First Assistant/Senior Theatre practitioner role. You will provide continuous competent and dedicated assistance under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon throughout the procedure and be responsible for the management of the equipment, instrumentation, and standards within the designated specialty and the role.
Requirements
·Registered Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner
·Surgical First Assistant course
·Mentorship Qualification
·Peri-operative / Theatre Practice qualification
