Staff Nurse (Oncology-Haematology Outpatients Unit)
Job Location: London
Salary: £33,061 - £42,955 per annum. (Inclusive of London Weighting and shift enhancements), depending on skills and experience.
Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week; Shifts are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm

Our Oncology & Haematology Outpatient department comprises of 22 individual areas for outpatient treatment. Our patients attend for day case chemotherapy and related treatments and/or consultant appointments. We currently have 5 apheresis machines, where donors/ patients attend for peripheral blood stem cell donation.
Role Overview
As a Staff Nurse you will be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care and service to the patients. This includes the appropriate assessment and evaluation of care in keeping with the Clinic's Policies and Protocols, NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the FACT-JACIE and BSBMT accreditation standards.
Requirements
·Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration.
·Post registration experience working in an acute setting with some Oncology and/or Haematology nursing experience.
·Post registration course in either oncology or haematology module/modules, chemotherapy administration and/or cancer foundation course.
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a calm and pleasant disposition and good problem solving and organisational skills.
