_{Role Overview}
_{As a Registered Nurse you will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care to the patient undergoing imaging diagnostic and/or treatment procedures.}

_{The post-holder will provide clinical advice and support to staff. They will assist with the continued development of the department, including strategies for the advancement of services.}

_Role
_·_{Co-ordinate department and staff activities as required}
_·_{Delivery and management of direct nursing care}
_·_{Ensuring a commitment to patient centred care}
_·_{Working with agreed nursing standards}
_·_{Being accountable for nursing outcomes}
_·_{Enhancing the quality of care by assisting with the management of change in nursing practice based on evidence/research}
_·_{Ensure the correct storage and administration of medications in accordance with the hospital policies and NMC Standards for Medicine}
_·_{Practice multidisciplinary team care and contribute actively towards its successful management.}
_·_{Act always as the patient advocate.}
_·_{Work in accordance with the Nursing Strategy to meet the Hospital and Nursing objectives.}
