TTM Healthcare Solutions are currently recruiting at for a Paediatric Staff Nurse based in the Paediatric Outpatients Department.
Staff Nurse - Paediatric Outpatient
Location: Paediatric Outpatient, London
Hours: 37.5hrs pw (Mon Sat) Monday-Friday 8:00am-8pm and (Saturday 8:00am-16.30pm twice monthly)
Salary: Dependent on skills and experience + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)
Role Overview
As a Paediatric Staff Nurse working within one of our outpatient Facilities (Flexibility to work at our other sites to meet service needs if required), you will provide the provision of high-quality nursing care to children and families. You will be undertaking delegated responsibility for the department in the absence of Senior Staff and working to promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research and evidence-based practice. The hospital has a variety of specialties including (but not limited to) surgical, neuro-rehab, Gastroenterology, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and general paediatrics.
Duties & Responsibilities
•Plan, assess, implement and evaluate plan of care for individual children and to supervise junior staff.
•Ensure an ongoing welcoming, caring and safe environment is provided for the children and their families.
•Develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge necessary to provide holistic, evidence-based nursing care.
•Carry out observations, investigations and treatments as required.
Requirements
•Registered Children's Nurse - minimum of 18 months post grad experience
•Post registration paediatric outpatients experience desirable.
•Phlebotomy is desirable.
•Motivated and forward-thinking individual with excellent communication skills.
