Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Cardiac Respiratory
Location: Central London
Job Type: Permanent, Full time 37.5 hours a week
Salary: £45,000 - £48,500 per annum, depending on experience
Role
·You will be responsible for providing evidence based and clinically effective care for patients. Providing specialist support, education, and training across the hospital to facilitate early diagnosis and effective treatment of patients presenting with Cardiac disease and Chronic Respiratory Disease.
·Provide specialist advice to evidence based clinically effective care to cardiology and respiratory patients and their relatives in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
·Engender a culture of respectful relationships through professional role modelling conveying the principles required for nurses to improve the patient's experience
·Manage self, others and resources so patients' needs are placed at the centre of care delivery
·Influence the provision of direct and indirect clinical care, teaching and research
·Promote flexibility in the approach to care and ensure cover for any area specified.
Relevant Qualifications
·Adult NMC Registered Nurse
·Holds ENB 124/254 or equivalent
·Holds ENB 998/Slice or C&G 730 or equivalent
·Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
·Holds Advanced life support certificate
·Proven teaching and assessing skills
·Excellent ECG and LFT interpretation
·Demonstrable advanced skills in this specialty with acute cardiology /respiratory experience
·Experience at Band 6 or above
